Famous Coffee Roasting Co.
The Famous Coffee Roasting Co. got its name from the very doorstep of their building, which is housed where the Famous Department Store existed some 30 years prior. The slanted, retro “Famous” in the terrazzo entrance, made for both a great name as well as stylistic inspiration. Paired with the unique pattern in the ring of a burr coffee grinder, the Famous Coffee Roasting Co. logo was born. Though the brand has now merged with Jeremiah Joe Coffee, the logo remains as part of their story and a nod to the past.
